Join us every Saturday morning at any Guitar Center and learn how to take your ideas from basic tracks to finished songs in just four user-friendly classes. Every month, we cover either Pro Tools or GarageBand. See below for a list of upcoming classes. Register now, as seats are limited.

Indiana Landmarks’ free guided tour around the physical and symbolic heart of Indianapolis tells the intriguing story of Monument Circle, past and present. You’ll hear about the Soldiers and Sailors Monument and why the woman on top faces south. You’ll learn the roundabout’s role in the original city plan and the stories of the encircling architecture.
When? 10:00 a.m. every Friday and Saturday, May-October (no reservation required, no tour if it’s raining cats and dogs).
Where? Tour departs from the South Bend Chocolate Company, located in the southwest quadrant of Monument Circle.
Parking? We suggest one of the Circle Centre mall garages, $1.50 for three hours (enter from Georgia, Illinois, or Washington streets).
Available at other times? Yes, we’ll be happy to conduct a tour on the day and time of your choosing for a fee. We charge $5 per person, with a $50 minimum charge, so it’s best to have a group.
Whip up some fun during the Super Duper Lil Chefs event. This event is a free culinary event that shows kids the fun side of food through hands-on activities.

Hold it! is a hands-on experience for visitors of all ages. Discover carts filled with objects everyone can hold and see up close. Currently, there are three cart experiences. The African and Asian carts both contain objects representative of those found in the IMA’s permanent collection. The Art Basics cart explores the fundamentals of art, artists’ materials, and various art samples.
Facilitated by an IMA docent. Stop by the Welcome Desk on Floor 2 to find out where the Hold It! Family Activity is located on the day of your visit.
