Santa is coming to town! Come and get your pictures with Santa at Greenwood Park Mall.
Santa Hours are below:
November 10th-November 21st: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-8:00pm
Saturdays, 10:00am-9:00pm
Sundays, 12:00 noon-6:00pm
November 23rd-December 23rd: Monday-Saturday, 10:00am-9:00pm
Sundays, 12:00 noon-6:00pm
December 24th: Monday, 10:00am-5:00pm
Families with children up to age 12 are invited to participate in Castelton Square and Greenwood Park’s Candy Cane Cottage Competitions (candy cane themed gingerbread houses). It’s all about great family fun with icing, candy and creativity. Plus great prizes! The friendly competition will benefit KidsPeace Foster Care and Family Services.
Twelve Finalists will be selected at each mall and their creative entries will be displayed for millions of holiday shoppers to view and vote on their favorite. At Castelton Square Mall, the life-size candy cane cottages will be displayed near Santa at the mall’s Center Court. At Greenwood Park Mall, they will be displayed near Santa in the Von Maur/JCPenney Court.
Use your imagination and get right to the fun of assembling and decorating your festive Candy Cane Cottage. If you are a family of beginners, you may wish to pick up a kit that includes the Gingerbread house/cottage pieces only to get you started. Cottage kits are free to Simon Kidgets Club members and $5 for others. Limit one kit per family while supplies last. Starter kit distribution begins November 10, 2012.

Get into the holiday spirit with our annual light spectacular, Christmas at the Zoo presented by Donatos and Teachers Credit Union. Join us to make memories too big to fit in a box while you visit animals that love cooler weather, walk the Zoo grounds covered in lights, and enjoy holiday cheer. The fun starts ever earlier this year, so make your holiday plans today! The Zoo opens at noon, with holiday activities from 5-9pm each Wednesday through Sunday from Nov. 23-Dec. 30. Christmas at the Zoo is free for Zoo members and included with regular Zoo admission.
A trip to Christmas at the Zoo is unlike any other time of the year. As dusk sets over the White River State Park, the Zoo begins to glow with Christmas lights creating peaceful, yet magical nights. You’ll find yourself eager to celebrate everything the holidays should be … plus animals! Several of the Zoo’s hardiest will stay up late to enjoy the cooler nights, including the sea lions, polar bear, walrus, tigers and brown bears. You and your loved ones can keep warm as you dash between Oceans, the Dolphin Dome, Deserts, Santa’s Village, Café on the Commons, Santa’s Sweet Shop and two campfires. Grab some hot chocolate and come join in the fun!
Purchase discount tickets at any Indy-area Donatos or Teachers Credit Union locations. Receive $1.00 off admission with each donation of a new hat, scarf or gloves to neighboring St. Mary’s Children Center, which helps young children who are at risk for social, emotional, economic and environmental problems.
